The municipal district has three Units of Conservation: Municipal park of Galheta, Municipal Park of the Morro dos Macacos and the Area of Important Ecological Interest of the Coastal of Zimbros, where ecological walks can be accomplished on trails that they were built by the old inhabitants in the forest, being possible the practice of the ecoturism through the environmental perception and tourism of ornithologister observation in full Atlantic forest.

MORRO DO MACACO |

Located at the Beach of Canto Grande, this trail will drive us to the high of the Morro do Macado, to the approximately 250 meters of altitude, providing in its summit a vision of 360° of the whole peninsula of Bombinhas and all of the islands that compose the Marine Biological Reservation of Arvoredo.

COASTAL OF ZIMBROS |

Praia do Cardoso, of the Lagoa, Prai Triste and Praia Vermelha, respectively located starting from the right extremity of the beach of ZImbros, the access is only possible through the trail. During the walk a little can be known more of the process of occupation of the peninsula that created the municipal district, to roll in the sands of the Praia Triste and to take bathing in the waterfall that only has the name of sad.

Extensive Atlantic forest area preserved in the left wild coast without inlets of the beach of Bombinhas. The trails of the park are ideal for the observation of the flora and fauna places

PRAIA DA TAINHA |

Located in the end south of the well-known peninsula as point of Zimbros, with access starting from Praia da Conceição. During the walk it is possible to visit the observatory 360º, with the most beautiful view of the bay of Zimbros.

This trail margin the coast between the beaches of 4 Ilhas and Mariscal, with a beautiful visual it takes us to the rural and almost unknown beach of the Caeté.
